Hindsight is 20/20. As I look back over the past twenty-eight years, it is clear that God had a purpose and plan for my messy life! I stand corrected as I remember saying, “I’ll never date a guy named Herb!” and when I told my twin sister that she can keep her Jesus!

My honey (a.k.a. my husband) and I welcome you on our unpredictable journey of good times, bad times, and everything in between. We take you through the devastating moment when my honey’s dad (at the age of thirty-nine) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the tragic loss of two pregnancies, ten years of unexplainable infertility, betrayal, making poor choices that caused a three-year lawsuit, the humbling experience of bankruptcy, and losing everything we worked so hard for, even the home of our dreams!

When we hit rock bottom, we were introduced to the Savior, Jesus Christ. We found unconditional love, mercy, and grace and learned how to build on a new foundation. Though the journey hasn’t been easy, we couldn’t be more excited to share God’s faithfulness.

I describe in full details the lessons learned along the way, the importance of speaking life, and how to forgive (not frugally).

I share the fifteen years I suffered from endometriosis and when I realized that I was miraculously healed!

After moving thirteen times in twenty-eight years searching for home, we finally discover exactly where we belong.

If you’re looking for raw honesty and real emotion, I didn’t hold back. As I pour out personal moments of our life, this book caused me to laugh out loud and moved me to tears!

Our story is sure to encourage and lift up those that love a happy ending. It’s about acting on faith even in the darkest moments. We are living proof that God does fulfill the desires of your heart and that dreams really do come true (just maybe not the way you’d expect). I hope our story of becoming deeply rooted will bring you hope and inspiration to never give up!
