Is it possible for a Christian to - as the Bible says - "fall from grace?" Is salvation a conditional offer, or an unconditional one? Is the eternal redemption of the disciple of Jesus Christ secured for eternity regardless of what one may later do or believe, or is that redemption contingent upon the perseverance of the saints? The doctrine of "eternal security," otherwise known as the once-saved-always-saved doctrine, is one that has divided certain segments of the Body of Christ and has been passionately debated between two camps of thought, those of the Arminian doctrinal persuasion and the opposing views of Calvinists. But which one is correct? This book thoroughly deconstructs the concept of unconditional eternal security using a broad and detailed review of the scriptures with an emphasis on preserving the unity of the saints by showing respect for each side.
