Handbook of Clinical Skills: Second edition

First published in 2002, this popular handbook focuses on the practical application of clinical skills aimed specifically at medical students and doctors in training. This much-anticipated second edition remains readable, concise and pocket-sized, while being extensively updated to reflect the latest learning requirements. Existing chapters, including an overview of the general examplination followed by chapters on examination specific to each body system, child healrth and mental health, are supplemented by the general practice consultation and a new chapter that brings the specialist clinical methods of previous chapters together and considers their application within and abbreviated timescale.
