The Literary Heritage of Holderness

The ancient wapentake of Holderness covers the area east of Hull, across to the North Sea and up to Earl's Dike near Barmston. The region has a rich literary history, and within this small volume, the author explores the writers who originate from the area, or have written fiction and poetry about this special place.
