Twelve members of Underground Authors all gazed upon the same image.

And to each the photograph told a different story. Same boat. Same image. Different genres.

From mystery and technothriller to romance and magical realism, from horror and historical fiction to fantasy and suspense with a little paranormal thrown in for good measure. These stories are presented in Beyond The Sea and are the handiwork of award-winning authors Breakfield and Burkey, N.E. Brown, James R. Callan, Michael Scott Clifton, Cindy Davis, CW Hawes, Kelly Marshall, Caleb Pirtle III, Linda Pirtle, C.J. Peterson, Richard Schwindt, and Ronald E. Yates.


The stories are all different as the boat had more than one secret to tell. It had a dozen.


The Underground Authors decided to dedicate the proceeds from 2021 sales of Beyond The Sea to a group that supports communities. https://teamrubiconusa.org/


Team Rubicon serves communities by mobilizing veterans to continue their service, leveraging their skills and experience to help people prepare, respond, and recover from disasters and humanitarian crises.


The story of Team Rubicon and what they have accomplished is amazing. There are also volunteer opportunities with them if you wish to help. Enjoy the stories a bit more knowing you also contributed to a worthwhile cause.
