ONE TIME OR ANOTHER

In the spring of 1965, a violent storm snatches 20-year-old Laura Malone away from her friend, Paul, and casts her fifty-eight years into the future. Now in 2023, Laura is horrified to learn that due to her unexplained disappearance all those years ago, Paul endured each of those agonizing years ostracized from society with allegations of her murder. She is determined to prevent Paul's deterioration into a frail and sickly recluse, but how can she possibly accomplish it? With the help of a kindhearted stranger, Kevin Donahue, Laura must somehow return to 1965, but her altruism backfires. Not only does Laura come to realize she has fallen in love with Kevin, her decision to leave him behind sets her own timeline on a calamitous course. Laura's fate now rests in Kevin's hands as he sets out on his own life-altering journey in an attempt to save the woman he loves from a bleak and joyless future.
